The Start To A New Journey

I'm moved in and settled!! I'm adjusting to the life of a college student. It's weird right now cause we haven't started classes yet. But it's cool seeing people on campus and meeting new people and hanging out with the friends i already have!

We packed the car up friday night. Got it ready to drive to Abilene Saturday morning. We were worried at first i wouldn't have enough room in the suburban...but it fit perfectly.

 We got up early saturday morning at got ready to leave. I went over to my best friends, Ellen, house to say goodbye. That was hard!!! I'll miss her!! Then we left our house and picked up Justin, then headed to Abilene! We got to Abilene and ate lunch. Then headed to my dorm to check in and move in! It was crazy!

 After i got the big stuff unpacked and atleast the rest tucked away we went walking other stuff while Jessica moved in. It was fun showing Justin around campus!! Showing off my school! He really liked the campus!

 We ate on campus that night. Then we went to check in at my parents hotel. Deb and Dad went swimming. Justin and i went back to campus and hung out with Jessica and Caleb! We had a great time! Then Justin and i went to see a friend of his that's going to ACU as well. Then he walked me back to my dorm and we said goodnight and he went back to the hotel. The next morning mom picked me up and we ate breakfast at the hotel and then we went shopping for some stuff. Then went back to campus and dropped off the stuff and walked around and talked for a while! Then we went to Olive Garden for lunch! It's my favorite restaurant! Then we went back to campus and finished setting up. Justin and i cuddled a lot during that time. Then all too soon it came time for them to leave. I started crying even before the said goodbye. I hugged my mom, then my did, then dad. I was crying. Then they went down to the car. Justin and i hugged for a long time and then kissed a lot. We told each other how much we loved each other and other stuff. We hugged and kissed again and then he left. I was crying a lot and when he left it just got worse. I cried for a while then made myself get busy organizing my room. Jessica came back to our room and was great at distracting me from being sad! We hung out with one of her friends. Then Went to walmart with Caleb and his roommate, Jacob. Then went on a jog. Then hung out with Caleb and Jacob till 10. I facetimed with Justin! We watched mamma mia then slept!

Today we woke up and ate lunch. lol. Then checked in for Welcome Week. Now we're just chilling in our dorm. We really don't have anything to do today.

I'm loving college so far! The freedom is awesome! I love my roommate so very much!!! :) I do miss my family and Justin! But i know i'll see them soon! And Justin and i will text, talk, and video chat a lot!! Can't wait to see what happens in this new life of mine!! :)

The Clock Is Ticking

Much has happened since my birthday. I have worked, gone out with Justin, Hung out with Ellen, Gotten closer to my mom, hung out with other friends, and went on a mission trip to Chicago! It's been crazy, and the time has whizzed by. But i'm enjoying ever moment i can!

Justin and i are doing great! We'll have been together 4 months on September 1!

 I went to Chicago on the mission trip the last week of July! It was a week full of ups and downs. The worst was the fact that i had 2 migraines 2 days in a row. But i learned a very valuable life lesson...PRAY CONTINUOUSLY!!! It really does help!

The Sunday after i got back my roommate, Jessica, and her family came over for dinner! Our families got along really well!! And we had such a good time!! Jessica and i have texted almost everday since and are so close!! We know it was a God thing that we're roommates!! I couldn't ask for a better one!! She is sweet, fun, trustworthy, honest, nonjudgemental, and always there for me! She can encourage me like no one ever has been able to! She aslways makes me smile!

I had my last day of work on Tuesday. I'm now a seasonal worker. It was really sad saying goodbye to everyone! I'll miss a few of them especially! Culvers became like a second home, a family to me! I love them all!!

I have 2 days left at home. It's really weird! I'm beyond excited!! But also nervous. I'm moving in to my room Saturday morning! My family and Justin are coming with me to help! There will be many many tears when it's time to say goodbye. But i know i'll see them soon! And that theyll always be there for me! ACU here i come!! :)

I'm Legal...sorta!

I turned 18 on July 6! It was a great day!! Justin took me to Olive Garden for a miday meal. It was one of the most romantic dates we've ever had! We talked, laughed, flirted, ate, and cuddled! Then we went to my house for my family dinner. We had steak, my fav!! Then my best friend came over for dessert! We all chilled at my house several hours. It was the best birthday i've ever had!

Some More Catching Up

After graduation we all rushed home to have my luncheon! The service had run late so we had people waiting for  us at the house. We ate chiloso's take-out, it was delicious! I had Justin, friends, and family at my party! Justin, Eric (a friend from school), and Brandon (one of my best friends) stayed late and we all chilled and talked! I loved spending time with everyone!

The monday after graduation our class boarded a plane to Florida, we spent the week in Disney land. I took a butt load of pics...so i'll only include one. lol.



Catching Up

I know it's been a while since i last wrote. But life has been insane: trips, work, hanging with friends, Justin.
I guess in order of how they happened Senior Sunday at church came first! My church recognizes its seniors by presenting them to the congregation, a gift, and then a lunch. It was a fun and proud moment for us all!

My First Last

Ok so yes, i know this should go before my last post. But i only just today got these pics from my dad.
A few weeks on April 10 a girls church ministry, called Acteens, that i've been apart of since 7th grade had our recognition service. It was my last one. I wasn't too sad about this. I've learned a lot from Acteens, but i feel we got too caught up in memorizing verses and didn't achieve much community work. But it's in the past, so whatev..
